Project Formatting Guide: Home

This is a guide for questions about formatting and printing your master's project, as well as submitting it to the library.

Project Formatting

Format checks must be scheduled by appointment

Call 281-283-3929 or e-mail Kelly Sandvig.

Projects submitted as partial fulfillment of the requirements for UHCL degrees are preserved by UHCL’s Alfred R. Neumann Library in two ways:

  • One bound copy, recorded in the UH Libraries online catalog, is shelved in the Library’s circulating collection. Scholars at UHCL or other institutions may borrow the circulating copy.
  • Another bound copy is maintained in the UHCL Archives in Neumann Library. This copy may not be circulated.

Any other content, beyond the formatting listed in the Formatting Guide, is subject to the approval of your project committee.

Your advisor gives the most important feedback about citation approaches and rules.

UHCL Writing Center provides face-to-face and online help with citation formatting.

For more information, click links below from Citing and Writing Help guide.

In addition to the basics of making sure that the UHCL formatting is correct, you can call on the Research Librarians for assistance with research techniques for your literature search.

There are also online research guides for every discipline taught at UHCL. They will tell you about physical and online resources that can help you in your research.
